This Makes Me Proud.

Aerial refueling is already a challenge all onto itself. If you haven’t served or didn’t see it first hand, just think about it. You have one plane flying through the air with tons of fuel. Then you have another aircraft, in this case a CH-53E Super Stallion, flying up close to it and a fuel exchange takes place.

All this to ascertain air superiority in the world and increase our military’s reach.

Now add to this swinging cargo. Sure, for these guys it’s just another little hurdle and they seem like they know what they’re doing. The reality is that no everyone can do that.

Can you imagine not only trying to catch the basket with your probe and everything we mentioned above while a 6,000 pound or so humvee is counteracting your every move?

The swinging action is pretty crazy, but as always, you can count on these guys to get the job done. 

Seriously, this makes me proud.
