Some people just like “big.” Go big or go home. Big Mac, big house and big bets. You get the point. This gentleman who loves his Rcs made one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, RC C-17s ever. He likes things big too!
As you’ll see in this video, this thing’s tail has to be at least 6 feet tall if you compare it to all the people in the background. Not only that, it sounds great too! According to the description, this thing has some monster jet engines too and when it flies by, you’ll really get a sound treat!
The maximum weight of the C-17 Globemaster III is 585,000 pounds!
As for the taking off part, this C-17 seemed to have a pretty hard time. Picking up speed, the pilot lifted the nose once to no avail. Either this plane was too slow or maybe a bit underpowered, but the second attempt did the trick. It took of sounding absolutely splendid.
The real C-17s are a sight to see as well. Named Globemaster III, these babies weigh almost 300,000 lbs. empty. Able to transport equipment like tanks and Strykers, any version of this plane is impressive no matter what.
